What I took away

Sometimes students need more than an answer or a resource. They need someone in their corner. I've had students reach out not because they needed help with an application, but because they needed someone to listen, encourage them, or simply remind them that they could keep going. Those moments showed me the value of being a consistent and supportive person in a student's corner.

Bridge Coach | May 2025 - August 2026

I supported recent high school graduates as they explored college, trade, employment, and military pathways. Through weekly email, text, phone, and creative outreach, I helped students navigate financial aid, enrollment, and postsecondary planning.

• Supported 300+ students per cycle and achieved a 45% postsecondary plan response rate

What I took away
